Job summary

Valley Medical Center in Renton, WA seeks an experienced Pharmacy Operations Manager for inpatient services. You will oversee pharmacy operations, programs, staff, and ensure safe, efficient medication-use systems within the Hospital Pharmacy Department.

The role requires a Doctor of Pharmacy or BS/PharmD, WA Pharmacist license or eligibility, ASHP residency/fellowship preferred, and 2–3 years of supervisory experience. Strong leadership and regulatory knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy is required.
• Minimum 2-3 years pharmacy supervisory/management experience.
• Licensed in the State of Washington as a Pharmacist, or eligible for licensure.
• ASHP Accredited Residency and/or Fellowship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hospital pharmacy operations and medication-use systems.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards in inpatient settings.
• Lead and develop pharmacy staff within the Hospital Pharmacy Department.
• Coordinate with other departments and support ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
