Job summary

Valley Health System is seeking a Clinical Pharmacy Coordinator to manage daily inpatient operations and optimize pharmaceutical care. You will serve as a clinical and operational resource, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient medication use and regulatory compliance.

The role oversees programs in quality improvement, informatics, and medication-use safety, providing leadership in workflow management and staff development across the pharmacy services.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy with active NJ license.
• PGY1 residency preferred; PGY2 or equivalent in health-system pharmacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and optimize daily inpatient pharmacy operations to deliver safe, effective pharmaceutical care.
• Serve as clinical/operational resource for pharmacy staff and interdisciplinary teams.
• Support regulatory compliance and oversee designated pharmacy programs and initiatives.
• Lead workflow management, quality/performance improvement, informatics, and medication-use safety programs.
