Job summary

The pharmacist provides clinical consultation, screens for drug interactions, documents interventions, and supports inventory, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance while maintaining patient education and service

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Pharmacy (PharmD or MS) preferred.
• Tennessee Licensure as a Pharmacist Required.
• Experience in hospital or clinical pharmacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret orders; dispense medications per physician instructions.
• Prepare sterile and non-sterile drug products and labels.
• Intervene for dosing, contraindications and allergies; ensure patient profile accuracy.
• Monitor drug interactions and provide clinical consultation to staff and patients.
• Support inventory management, compliance, and Quality Improvement initiatives.
