The role requires Tennessee Pharmacist licensure, a graduate degree, and at least 1 year of patient-care experience; flexibility with shifts and a commitment to safety and quality are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Pharmacy.
• Tennessee licensure as a Pharmacist required.
• At least 1 year experience in patient care as obtained through completion of an approved pharmacy program.
• Additional certification may be required based on assignment.

Responsabilités

• Prepares and dispenses medications as prescribed and ordered by physician/provider.
• Interprets and evaluates medication orders for contraindications, allergies, and dosing.
• Ensures patient profile is current and reflects provider's wishes.
• Provides clinical consultation and drug information to physician, patients, and staff.
• Operates computerized data systems and ensures accurate documentation.
• Maintains inventory and ensures safety and regulatory compliance.
