Job summary

Loyal Source Government Services is seeking a full-time Pharmacist to deliver inpatient pharmacy services at Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston, TX. The Pharmacist will review orders, verify prescriptions, prepare and dispense medications, and support safe drug therapy.

You will collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes while complying with pharmacy regulations and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from ACPE-accredited college.
• Active pharmacist license.
• BLS certification (AHA preferred).
• At least 1 year of inpatient pharmacy experience in past 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Review medication orders and verify prescriptions for inpatient care.
• Prepare and dispense medications according to SOPs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize drug therapy.
• Perform pharmaceutical calculations for IV admixtures and complex parenteral nutrition.
• Ensure accuracy of labeling and patient safety checks.
• Support training of pharmacy technicians and residents.
• Respond to Code Blues per shift as Code Responder.
