Job summary

Loyal Source Government Services at Fort Sam Houston, TX, seeks a full-time Pharmacist to deliver inpatient pharmacy services at Brooke Army Medical Center. You will review orders, verify prescriptions, prepare and dispense medications, and collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes while adhering to pharmacy regulations.

The role requires an ACPE-accredited pharmacy degree, an active pharmacist license, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist degree from ACPE-accredited college.
• Must hold an active, full pharmacist license.
• Active BLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year inpatient pharmacy experience in the past 2 years.
• Residency experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize drug therapy.
• Review medication orders and verify prescriptions.
• Prepare, dispense and label medications per SOPs.
• Perform IV admixtures and complex calculations.
• Ensure safe and compliant medications and participate in QA.
• Respond to Code Blues per shift.
