Grammar seeks an RN Assistant Nurse Manager for Inpatient Peds/PICU & NICU to support the Children’s Services Nurse Manager and staff. The role emphasizes positive patient outcomes, patient experience, throughput, staff engagement, and unit operations while maintaining basic nursing skills.

This full-time position is scheduled for evenings and nights, requiring leadership experience in pediatric critical care and active Maryland RN licensure with BSN.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Nursing (BSN) is required.
• At least 3 years of nursing experience in Peds/PICU or NICU with progressive leadership experience (charge, precepting, etc.) is required.
• Must be a member of a Professional Organization.
• Current Maryland Registered Nurse License is required.

Responsibilities

• In the absence of the Nurse Manager, the Assistant Nurse Manager will assume full oversight and responsibilities for their assigned unit/s.
• Supports the Nurse Manager and staff to improve patient outcomes, patient experience, throughput, and operations.
