Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician I/II for inpatient care at Memorial Campus West 3 in Worcester, MA. This on-site, part-time, per diem role supports registered nurses and other clinicians, delivering direct patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Responsibilities include monitoring vital signs, assisting with daily living activities, safety interventions, and supporting treatments.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED required.
• Current Basic Life Support certification required.
• Must read, write and communicate in English clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under supervision of licensed clinician.
• Communicate observations to the RN promptly.
• Assist with daily living activities and patient safety.
• Take and record vital signs and assist with mobility.
• Assist with procedures and prepare equipment as needed.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and clean patient environment.
