Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide specialized perioperative care in the Operating Room. You will prepare patients, assist the surgical team, monitor status, and ensure safety and infection control.

Responsibilities include pre-operative checks, intraoperative support, post-operative handoffs, and accurate documentation, coordinating with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and other healthcare professionals. Active RN license required with BLS; ACLS/CNOR preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification preferred or required depending on facility requirements.
• CNOR certification preferred.
• 1-2 years of Operating Room or perioperative nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and prepare patients for surgical procedures and complete required pre-operative safety checks.
• Provide nursing support during surgical procedures and assist the surgical team as needed.
• Monitor patient condition, vital signs, and response to medications and procedures.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and other prescribed treatments safely.
• Maintain aseptic technique and follow infection prevention and patient safety standards.
• Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Complete accurate documentation and ensure appropriate post-operative handoff and patient care.
