Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is seeking an experienced RN for the Operating Room to provide expert perioperative care before, during, and after surgery. The role emphasizes patient assessment, sterile technique, and teamwork with surgeons and anesthesia providers.

The RN will monitor vitals, administer medications, and participate in post-operative handoffs to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes. A nursing degree and active RN license are required, with OR experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification preferred or required based on facility requirements.
• CNOR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and prepare patients for surgical procedures and complete required pre-operative safety checks.
• Provide nursing support during surgical procedures and assist the surgical team as needed.
• Monitor patient condition, vital signs, and response to medications and procedures.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and other prescribed treatments safely.
• Maintain aseptic technique and follow infection prevention and patient safety standards.
• Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Complete accurate documentation and ensure appropriate post-operative handoff and patient care.
