Job summary

Omega Healthcare is looking to bring on three Facility IP Coders who will focus exclusively on Oncology coding for a Comprehensive Cancer Facility. This is a full-time role with 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, between 6am and 6pm EST.

Candidates must code complex cancer cases with a thorough understanding of NCI Guidelines, SEER training, and Vizient mortality mode, using Athena EMR (other systems: Altera Sunrise, Mosaic).

Qualifications

• Experience coding complex medical and surgical cancer cases.
• Strong knowledge of NCI Guidelines and SEER training.
• Familiarity with Vizient mortality mode.

Responsibilities

• IP Facility Coding for Hospital Reimbursement.
• Maintain accuracy 95%+ and productivity 1.25 CPH.
• Code for a Comprehensive Cancer Facility firing oncology cases.

Details

• Full Time Only 40hrs per w
• Hours M-F between 6am-6pm EST ( discussed further during interview)
• Productivity: 1.25CPH
• Accuracy 95%

• CCS Required
• Systems: Experience with Athena Required ( other systems are Altera Sunrise, Mosaic)
• Pay: $42hr (open to discussion based on experience)
• Need experience coding complex medical and surgical charges for cancer cases. Must have a thorough understanding of NCI Guidelines, SEERS training, and Vizient mortality mode
• Laptop Provided ( unless you wish to use your own equipment)
• IP Facility Coding for Hospital Reimbursement
