Job summary

Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, IL is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate patients, set goals, and provide interventions to foster independence in activities of daily living. You will work with the care team and patients, promoting high-quality, evidence-based practice.

Required IL OT licensure with acute care and inpatient rehab experience; strong EMR documentation and patient handling skills; and the ability to transfer and position patients.

Qualifications

• Licensed OT in IL with acute care and inpatient rehab experience.
• Experience with EMR documentation and patient care planning.
• Ability to transfer and position patients.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, treat, evaluate and implement a POC for all clients seen.
• Collaborate with physician and supervise OTAs/OT/OTA students.
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality and ensure safety in care.
• Complete timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Participate in continuing education and development plans.
• Includes Saturday and Sunday rotation work as applicable.
