Job summary

Northern Nevada Medical Center in Sparks, Nevada seeks an Inpatient Occupational Therapist for a per diem role. The OT will evaluate, plan, direct and administer occupational therapy modalities as prescribed to restore function and prevent disability after injury or illness.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, implementing treatment plans, and educating patients and families. A valid state OT license and current BCLS are required; a flexible schedule is available.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure for Occupational Therapy.
• Three (3) or more years of experience in all aspects of occupational therapy preferred.
• Current BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients per physician prescription.
• Develop and implement OT treatment plans.
• Reassess patient progress and adjust interventions.
• Educate patients and families as appropriate.
