Job summary

Grady Health System is seeking a Nursing Support Technician (NST) to work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, and/or Physician in inpatient settings. The NST provides age‑appropriate, culturally sensitive care, maintains safety, collects information, and supports comfort measures and therapies as delegated.

The NST participates in patient advocacy, education, and performance improvement, and may be cross‑trained for additional roles to enhance patient safety

Qualifications

• Experience in patient care or nursing support is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with activities of daily living.
• Collect information and communicate effectively with the care team.
• Maintain a safe environment, advocate for patients, and participate in quality improvement.
