Qualifications

• 0–6 months related experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates inpatient nursing staffing to meet staffing targets.
• Takes call-ins for nursing units and enters illnesses and absences in scheduling software promptly.
• Notifies nursing unit of employees who have called in for upcoming shifts.
• Tracks staffing adjustments - pulling or sending staff to units as needed.
• Schedules individuals who call wanting to work after the clinical manager or designee has left for the day.
• Enters staffing data for shift and calls in staff to meet targets.
• Readjusts staffing between units for adequate patient care.
• Communicates effectively with internal and external customers to ensure equitable staffing.
