Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to coordinate nursing services across multiple sites in Wisconsin. The role requires at least five years of RN experience and a minimum of one year in an inpatient Nurse Manager position, with stronger preference for two or more years in that role.

You will manage staffing, resources, and patient care quality, while collaborating with physicians, departments, and leadership to drive care improvement, efficiency, and staff development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in Nursing.
• 5 years of nursing experience including at least 1 year in inpatient Nurse Manager role; 2+ years preferred.
• RN license required; specialty certification within 1 year of eligibility.
• Willingness to provide leadership across multiple sites/departments as needed.
• Flexibility to float and adapt to site needs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and manages resources to ensure optimal nursing care, staffing, supplies and systems.
• Maintains productive staffing and scheduling to meet 24-hour coverage.
• Evaluates quality of care using standards, outcomes, peer review and incident reports.
• Develops service strategies and monitors levels to improve customer and patient satisfaction.
• Promotes strong relationships among patients, families, staff, and other departments.
