Advocate Health is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join their team in a dynamic, patient-centered environment. The role emphasizes evidence-based practices, ongoing professional development, and active participation in clinical governance to improve care processes.

The RN will use the nursing process to assess and plan care, monitor patients, and collaborate with the care team to optimize outcomes while maintaining a culture of safety and high-quality documentation.

Qualificações

• Requires active registered nurse license in the state(s) where services are delivered.
• Demonstrates strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and prioritization abilities.
• Exhibits clear communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and the care team.

Responsabilidades

• Engages in councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions and adjusts care plans with the care team.
• Promotes a culture of safety and maintains accurate EHR documentation.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocol; ensures appropriate delegation.
• Pursues professional development and maintains required certifications.
• Adheres to ethics codes and respects interdisciplinary roles in patient care.
• May float to other units as needed to meet care demands.
• Must provide age-appropriate care and understand developmental needs across the lifespan.
