Job summary

SCA Health in the United States is seeking a registered nurse to join our perioperative team. You will assess patients, develop care plans, administer medications safely, and coordinate with physicians, anesthesia and bedside staff to support quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited nursing program, holds a current state nursing license, and has BLS/BCLS and ACLS (PALS when pediatric care is included).

Qualifications

Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
Current state licensure to practice nursing.
BLS/BCLS certification required.
ACLS (and PALS if pediatric care is included) preferred for role.

Responsibilities

Promote patient safety and quality perioperative care.
Assess patient status and implement individualized care plans.
Administer medications safely using the 8 rights of medication administration.
Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia, and nursing staff to coordinate care.
Provide education to patients and families about expected outcomes and recovery.
