Job summary

The Medical College of Wisconsin’s Division of Pulmonary/Critical Care- MICU is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) to deliver specialty medical care within the Inpatient setting at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, WI. The APP will work as a vital member of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to patient care, safety, research, and education.

Ideal candidates have inpatient/ICU experience and hold Wisconsin APRN or PA credentials, with BLS, ACLS and DEA eligibility.

Qualifications

• Experience in inpatient/critical care settings is preferred.
• Strong ability to assess, diagnose and treat critically ill patients.
• Demonstrated teamwork and communication with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily rounds with Attending Intensivist team.
• Provide comprehensive care of ICU patients from admission to transfer.
• Collaborate with pulmonary/critical care faculty and multidisciplinary staff.
• Contribute to patient safety, quality improvement and teaching activities.
