Job summary

Medical College of Wisconsin seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (APRN/PA) to deliver inpatient gastroenterology care at Menomonee Falls Hospital with coverage at Froedtert West Bend Hospital as needed. The APP will work within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to patient care, safety, research, and teaching.

The role requires Wisconsin APRN or PA licensure, BLS, and DEA eligibility, with a focus on quality outcomes and patient education in a dynamic GI service.

Qualifications

• BLS certification
• DEA eligibility
• Wisconsin APRN license or Wisconsin PA license required

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient GI consult coverage at Menomonee Falls and West Bend hospitals.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Order, perform, and interpret screening and diagnostic procedures; document in EMR (Epic).
• Educate and counsel patients and families on disease and treatment plans.
• Monitor quality outcomes and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
