Job summary

The Medical College of Wisconsin's Division of Pulmonary/Critical Care-MICU is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to deliver specialty inpatient care at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, WI. The APP will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support excellence in patient care, safety, research, and education.

Ideal candidates have inpatient critical care experience, Wisconsin APRN or PA licensure, and are prepared to round with Attending Intensivist teams.

Qualifications

• Candidate must hold Wisconsin APRN license or PA license.
• BLS, ACLS, and DEA eligibility required.
• Inpatient, acute care or critical care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialty medical care to critically ill patients in the MICU.
• Participate in daily rounds with Attending Intensivist and multidisciplinary team.
• Manage all aspects of care from admission to transfer from the critical care service.
• Collaborate on quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
