Job summary
The Medical College of Wisconsin’s Division of Cardiology seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (APRN/PA) to deliver specialty General Cardiology care in the outpatient setting at Froedtert Drexel Town Square Health Center in Oak Creek, WI. The APP will work with a collaborative, multidisciplinary team to diagnose and treat cardiovascular conditions.
The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, patient education, and safe, high-quality care with standard APP responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Preference for core APP experience in cardiovascular hospital-based care.
- Pacemaker/ICD programming experience is highly desirable.
- BLS certification required.
- DEA eligibility and board certification as applicable in Wisconsin.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialty medical care in General Cardiology in outpatient setting.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for diagnosis, treatment and management of cardiovascular disease.
- Perform comprehensive histories & physicals, order and interpret screening & diagnostic tests, and document findings.
- Educate patients and families and provide cross-coverage as needed.
