Job summary

The Medical College of Wisconsin's Department/Division/Program of Gastroenterology & Hepatology is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APRN/PA) to provide inpatient specialty medical care at Menomonee Falls Hospital with coverage at Froedtert West Bend Hospital as needed. The APP works as a member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team to advance patient care, safety, and education.

The role includes GI consult coverage, order entry, patient education, and participation in quality

Qualifications

• APN/PA eligibility in Wisconsin required.
• Experience in inpatient GI care preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient GI consult coverage at designated hospitals.
• Order and interpret screening and diagnostic procedures, document in EMR.
• Educate patients and families on disease and treatment plans.
• Contribute to quality improvement and teaching within the GI program.
