Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health's Allen Hospital in Lorain, OH seeks a Lead Pharmacist for inpatient operations. The role coordinates IV admixture, quality assurance and aligns with department goals across affiliated locations.

You will lead staff, drive performance improvement initiatives and collaborate with caregivers and leaders to ensure safe, effective drug therapy for patients in the inpatient setting and related clinics.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist licensure in the state.
• Bachelor’s of Science in Pharmacy required.
• 3 years of experience as a pharmacist; supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program development, policy implementation, QA and performance improvement activities and resource management.
• Lead IV admixture services, ensuring quality assurance and related improvement activities.
• Coordinate staff training, competency assessments and compliance with regulations.
• Communicate effectively with the pharmacy team, caregivers and leaders to deliver high quality pharmaceutical services.
• Participate in committees and support emergency procedures and on-call coverage.
