Job summary

Summa Health is seeking a board certified/board eligible Hospice & Palliative Medicine physician to join our inpatient-focused team at the Akron Hospital Campus. The role is a full-time employed position with competitive compensation and incentives, including signing bonus, loan assistance, relocation, and CME allowance.

Qualifications

• Board-certified/eligible in Hospice & Palliative Medicine.
• Fellowship trained in Hospice & Palliative Medicine.
• Current and unrestricted license in Ohio, or willing to obtain.
• Compassionate, caring demeanor with patients, families, and staff.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient HPM care at Akron Hospital Campus.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including pharmacists, nurses, social workers, and spiritual care.
• Teach within the HPM Fellowship Program and rotations.
