Job summary

Trustbridge Hospice, a member of Empath Health, is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient Care Center team in West Palm Beach. This PRN role covers a 7:00 am to 7:30 pm shift with weekend availability, delivering high‑quality care at the bedside and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.

You will assess patient needs, coordinate interventions, educate families, and support comfort and dignity for patients facing advanced illness in a community‑based setting.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse licensed in Florida.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
One year in public health, home nursing, oncology, medical/surgical, geriatric or hospice nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate patient and family care with the primary physician and IDG.
Conduct thorough assessments of patient and family needs.
Ensure timely delivery of interventions per care plan.
Monitor patient conditions and provide interventions and education.
Address concerns to ensure satisfaction and trust.

Skills

Registered Nurse license (FL)

Basic Life Support (BLS)

Hospice nursing experience (preferred)

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

BSN preferred

Tools

EMR software experience
