3HC Home Health & Hospice Care Inc. is seeking an Inpatient Facility Nursing Assistant (CNA) for Crystal Coast Hospice House in Newport, NC. This PRN role covers inpatient personal care under clinical supervision, following a defined plan of care.

The position requires valid NC CNA credentials, ability to provide compassionate patient care, and a willingness to work flexible shifts. Inpatient experience is preferred and 3HC emphasizes a supportive, family-like team culture.

Qualifications

• Listed as a CNA with DHSR and completed training with no 24-month lapse.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant II listed with NC Board of Nursing.
• Ability to perform delegated tasks safely within plan of care.
• Experience with inpatient care preferred.

Responsabilités

• Administers personal care and hygiene per care plan, including bathing, dressing, feeding assistance, and ROM exercises.
• Maintains accurate documentation in EMR and reports changes to supervisor promptly.
• Demonstrates proper use of PPE and adheres to infection control policies.
• Assists with housekeeping tasks and patient comfort, including changing linens and providing a clean environment.
• Acts as a preceptor for new staff and supports training as needed.
• Works assigned shifts and holidays as scheduled.
