Qualifications

• Listed as a CNA with DHSR, evidenced by completed training and no 24-month lapse providing compensated services
• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Physically capable to perform delegated tasks for patient care as per plan of care
• Must be dependable and able to work with patients, families, staff and the public
• Experience preferred
• Qualification for NA II
• All qualifications listed above
• Certified Nursing Assistant II currently listed with NC Board of Nursing

Responsibilities

• Abides by and supports 3HC's Compliance Program and Code of Ethics.
• Creates positive experiences for internal and external customers and maintains professional demeanor.
• Administers personal care and hygiene per care plan, including bathing, grooming, feeding assistance, and basic ROM.
• Acts as a facilities preceptor for new employees, teaching inpatient facility procedures and EMR documentation.
• Reports changes in patient condition to supervisor to prevent adverse events.
• Completes EMR documentation each shift and coordinates tasks.
• Performs housekeeping tasks and maintains patient areas.
• Works assigned shifts and holidays; may use Hoyer lift for bariatric patients.
• Demonstrates commitment to ongoing professional growth and cost-effective use of resources.
