Job summary

Qualifications

• Listed as a CNA with DHSR, evidence by completed training and has not had a lapse of 24 consecutive months where the aid has not provided services for compensation
• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Must be physically competent to perform delegated tasks necessary to good patient care and as indicated inpatient's plan of care
• Must be dependable and capable of dealing pleasantly and tactfully with patient, family, staff and the public
• Experience preferred
• Qualification for NA II
• All qualifications listed above
• Certified Nursing Assistant II currently listed with the North Carolina Board of Nursing

Responsibilities

• Abides by and supports 3HC's Compliance Program and Code of Ethics.
• Creates positive experiences for internal and external customers that will meet their expectations.
• NA I: Administers personal care and hygiene by following established care plan; provides or assists patient in bathing, feeding, transfers, etc.
• NA II: Administers more advanced care per care plan, including wound care and catheterization where applicable.
• Acts as a facilities preceptor for new employees and trains on EMR documentation.
• Reports changes in patient condition to supervisor immediately.
• Completes shift documentation in EMR and coordinates tasks with team.
• Performs housekeeping tasks and supports patient comfort and safety.
