Qualifications

• Listed as a CNA with DHSR, evidenced by completed training and not having a 24-month lapse.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Physically competent to perform delegated tasks per patient care plan.
• Dependable and capable of handling interactions with patients, families, staff and the public.
• Experience preferred.
• Qualification for NA II.
• All qualifications listed above.
• Certified Nursing Assistant II currently listed with NC Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Abides by and supports 3HC's Compliance Program and Code of Ethics.
• Creates positive experiences for internal and external customers; demonstrates courtesy and knowledge of services.
• Administers personal care and hygiene per care plan; assists with feeding and mobility; records vital signs.
• Administers care per NA II scope: wound care, ostomy care, suctioning, monitoring, IV fluids, and entering data in EMR.
