Job summary

Capital Health seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to assess and treat patients in hospital and outpatient settings. The role includes developing plans, documenting progress, and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure smooth patient care.

Required licensure as a speech-language pathologist in New Jersey and a current BLS certification. A minimum of one year of related experience is preferred, with telecommuting not indicated for this position.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduation from an accredited speech-language pathology program and licensure.
• Experience: One year of experience in relevant patient populations preferred (acute, outpatient, pediatric).
• Credentials: AHA BLS Healthcare Provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients in hospital and clinics; develop treatment plans and measurable goals.
• Document evaluation, treatment, and discharge notes clearly and timely.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other team members.
