Job summary

The Medical College of Wisconsin, Inc. seeks an Advanced Practice Provider in Gastroenterology to deliver inpatient GI consult coverage at Menomonee Falls and West Bend.

You will work with an interdisciplinary team to diagnose and treat GI conditions, order and interpret tests, and document findings in the Epic EMR. You will educate patients and families on disease and treatment plans, promote continuity of care, and participate in quality outcome initiatives.

Qualifications

• APP GI experience preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Strong patient communication and education skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient GI consult coverage at Menomonee Falls and West Bend.
• Collaborate with GI team and other specialties for diagnosis and treatment.
• Order, perform, and interpret screening and diagnostic procedures; document in EMR (Epic).
• Educate patients and families about disease and treatment plans; promote continuity of care.
• Evaluate quality outcomes and participate in quality indicators and dashboards.
• Stay informed on APP field trends through education, in-services, and literature.
