Qualifications
- BSN or ADN with commitment to obtain BSN within three years of first day of employment in clinical nurse role.
- Current State of Illinois Registered Professional Nurse.
- Basic Life Support.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with others.
- Strong analytic abilities.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for acutely ill patients.
- Interact effectively with patients, families and health team members according to ANA standards.
- Collect and analyze data, set outcomes, and coordinate care delivery.
- Direct care and determine appropriate use of assistants in direct patient care.
- Collaborate with patients, families, physicians and staff; document plans and outcomes.
