Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital is seeking a Float Registered Nurse Inpatient to provide specialized nursing care for acutely ill patients. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

This role emphasizes adherence to professional standards, evidence-based practice, and participation in governance and continuous improvement initiatives within NM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Current State of Illinois Registered Professional Nurse license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate with others.
• Strong analytic abilities.

Responsibilities

• A clinically competent, registered nurse who coordinates nursing care for acutely ill patients.
• Interacts effectively with patients, families and health team members while upholding ANA standards.
• Collects and analyzes data, develops plans, implements care, and evaluates outcomes.
• Directs care and determines appropriate use of any assistants involved in patient care.
• Collaborates with patients, families, physicians and staff; documents the plan and outcomes.
• Participates in shared governance, committees and unit projects.
• Evaluates patient responses and personalizes care based on findings; uses evidence to guide practice.
