Job summary

The MetroHealth System in Cleveland, OH seeks an experienced RN to join our Inpatient Medical Surgical Float Pool. You will float to Oncology, Telemetry, Post-Surgical, Orthopedic, Trauma Step Down, and General Medicine units, providing high-quality nursing care across a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• 1 year of inpatient RN experience.
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Float to Oncology, Telemetry, Post-Surgical, Orthopedic, Trauma Step Down and General Medicine units.
• Coordinate care with LPNs, PCNAs, Nurse Interns, Providers, PT/OT, and WOCN.
• Provide nursing care and perform essential procedures as needed.
