Job summary

The MetroHealth System in Cleveland, OH is seeking an Inpatient Medical Surgical Float Pool RN to provide high-quality care across multiple acute care units. You will perform IVs, blood draws, Foley care, and advanced procedures as needed, with rotating shifts and weekends.

Ideal candidates hold an Ohio RN license, BLS, and at least 1 year of inpatient RN experience, with BSN preferred. This PRN role offers tuition reimbursement and certification incentives, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing or a program seeking accreditation.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in Ohio
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for healthcare providers or obtained within 90 days of hire
• 1 year of inpatient RN experience
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience

Responsibilities

• Float pool RN will work across units: Oncology, Telemetry, Post-Surgical, Orthopedic, Trauma Step Down, General Medicine.
• Perform IV placement, blood draws, Foley care, tracheostomy care, NG/PEG placement.
• Demonstrate time management, critical thinking and delegation.
• Collaborate with LPNs, PCNAs, Nurse Interns, Providers, PT/OT, WOCN
