Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks an Inpatient Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care across dialysis modalities in hospital settings. The role includes supervising staff, coordinating with ICU and physicians, and ensuring safe, effective treatments via hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and apheresis.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of RN experience and nephrology exposure; BLS is required, ACLS preferred. On-site positions involve travel among hospital sites and on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• One year RN experience required.
• Minimum 6 months nephrology experience before working independently.
• BLS CPR required; ACLS CPR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care across dialysis modalities (hemodialysis, peritoneal, CRRT, apheresis).
• Supervise PCTs and clerical staff; educate ICU staff for CRRT.
• Document patient responses and adjust treatment plans.
• Communicate with physicians and hospital staff for care coordination.
• Maintain safety, equipment calibration, and infection control between treatments.
