Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an Inpatient Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care across dialysis modalities such as hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and apheresis. The role involves supervising Patient Care Techs and educating ICU staff for CRRT, while coordinating with physicians on treatment plans and ensuring timely, safe care.

The position requires current state RN licensure and 1 year of inpatient experience, with BLS mandatory and ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• RN with at least 1 year inpatient care experience.
• Experience with nephrology and dialysis modalities.
• Strong patient assessment and communication skills.
• BLS CPR required; ACLS CPR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across dialysis modalities per protocol.
• Supervise PCTs and clerical staff; educate ICU staff for CRRT.
• Collaborate with physicians to adjust treatment plans and ensure continuity of care.
• Document all treatments accurately in the patient record (ACES) and hospital records.
• Maintain equipment safety and cleanliness; disinfect dialysis machines and related areas.
• Participate in staff meetings and ongoing training; report incidents per Adverse Event requirements.
