Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in the United States seeks an Inpatient Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care across dialysis modalities within inpatient renal replacement and apheresis services. You will collaborate with hospital staff to ensure high‑quality care and patient experience, while documenting in the patient record and maintaining safety standards.

Requires an active RN license and about one year of RN experience; nephrology exposure and CRRT knowledge are highly valued.

Qualifications

• One year RN experience required.
• Minimum 6 months nephrology experience required before working independently.
• BLS CPR recognition is required; ACLS CPR recognition preferred.
• Strong assessment, organizational and time‑management skills.
• ICU experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across multiple dialysis modalities (HD,PD, CRRT, Apheresis).
• Supervise and direct Patient Care Technicians and clerical staff; educate ICU staff for CRRT.
• Document treatment and patient response in ACES and hospital records.
• Coordinate care with physicians and hospital team to ensure continuity.
• Deliver timely, safe care and concise shift reports.
