Insight Global seeks a Senior Inpatient Coder for a fully remote role supporting a Level I Trauma environment. The ideal candidate has recent Level I Trauma experience, CCS certification, and strong inpatient oncology coding expertise.

In this role, you will review complex inpatient records, code diagnoses and procedures, and participate in pre-bill quality reviews to ensure accuracy before production. Remote work requires high attention to detail and reliability.

Qualifications

• Active CCS certification
• Minimum 3 years of inpatient coding experience; 5+ years preferred
• Recent Level I Trauma inpatient coding experience
• Strong oncology and surgical oncology coding experience
• Experience coding complex, high-acuity inpatient cases
• Proficiency with 3M
• Strong understanding of secondary diagnoses, comorbidities, and complex coding scenarios
• Ability to successfully complete a coding assessment as part of the interview process
• Ability to work standard business hours during the initial training/pre-bill period

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Senior Inpatient Coders to support a highly complex Level I Trauma environment. This is a fully remote opportunity designed for seasoned inpatient coding professionals who are comfortable working with challenging, high-acuity cases.

The ideal candidate will have recent Level I Trauma experience, an active CCS certification, and strong experience coding complex oncology and surgical oncology cases. This environment requires a high degree of accuracy, critical thinking, and attention to detail.

What You'll Be Doing

• Review and code highly complex inpatient medical records
• Accurately assign diagnoses and procedures in accordance with applicable coding guidelines

• Ability to successfully complete a coding assessment as part of the interview process
• Ability to work standard business hours during the initial training/pre-bill period
