Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepares and dispenses medication orders per physician request according to policies and protocols.
• Interprets orders and transcribes to patient profiles; maintains accurate records.
• Prepares sterile, chemotherapy, and parenteral nutrition medications using safe techniques.
• Issues controlled substances to patient care areas with proper documentation.
• Ensures safe, appropriate, cost-effective therapies per policies.
• Contributes to department quality and operations.
• Maintains competence for current title/position.
• Assists with pharmacokinetics consults and drug dosing per protocol.
