UC Health is hiring a Clinical Staff Pharmacist for the Inpatient Pharmacy Department at UC Medical Center. The role requires dispensing medications, interpreting orders, and ensuring safe, cost-effective therapies. This position offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus and a full-time schedule with varied shifts.

We seek candidates with a pharmacy degree, Ohio licensure eligibility, and hospital pharmacy experience. The pay range is competitive and aligned with market practices for inpatient pharmacists.

Formación

• B.S. in pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy is required.
• PharmD preferred degree.
• Licensed or eligible for pharmacist licensure in Ohio; ACLS preferred.
• Hospital pharmacy internship or hospital pharmacist experience preferred; PGY1 preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares and dispenses medication orders per physician request according to policies and procedures.
• Interprets and transcripts orders to computerized profiles; maintains accurate medication records.
• Prepares sterile, chemotherapy, and parenteral nutrition preparations safely and accurately.
• Issues controlled substances to patient care areas and maintains records as required by law.
• Assists with pharmacokinetics consult service and drug dosing per protocol.
