Job summary
Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC seeks an experienced Clinical Informatics professional to optimize inpatient EHR workflows, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive data-informed improvements across care teams. You will mentor staff, lead project work, and partner with IT to implement enhancements that improve patient safety and efficiency.
The role requires Epic Clinical Module Certification or within 1 year of hire, and a Bachelor's in Healthcare/IT with 3–5 years of clinical informatics
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills and ability to convey technical information to non-technical users.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify areas for improvement.
- Passion for healthcare technology and patient care.
- Ability to lead in all phases of the clinical information system lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Serve as SME for the EHR and provide in-depth support to inpatient care teams; liaise between clinicians, leadership and IT.
- Troubleshoot complex clinical workflows and guide users through processes.
- Identify change management strategies to support technology adoption.
- Provide reporting assistance and use clinical data analytics to drive decisions.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to optimize workflows across inpatient care.
- Develop and deliver education and training for new and existing staff.
