Job summary

Rogers Behavioral Health in Wisconsin seeks a Behavior Specialist to support CBT-based interventions across inpatient programs. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to implement individualized treatment plans and monitor outcomes for patients with complex mental health needs.

Responsibilities include delivering CBT, coordinating with supervisors, documenting care, training staff and educating families on CBT strategies, while ensuring patient safety and program compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in human services, psychology, social work, or related field.
• Must hold a valid Substance Abuse Counselor-in-Training credential (or state equivalent) for Addiction Recovery programs.
• Relevant CBT experience (12 months preferred).
• Current and active driver's license (Residential programs preferred).
• CPR certification within 30 days of hire and NCI training within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide cognitive behavioral and other therapeutic services including groups.
• Participate in supervision sessions with Clinical leader and update care plans as needed.
• Monitor outcomes and adjust interventions in consultation with Clinical leader.
• Document mental health services per regulations and payer expectations.
• Ensure timely documentation of treatment plans and outcomes in medical records.
• Support training for other direct care team members in CBT interventions.
• Educate patients and families on CBT strategies and positive reinforcement.
