Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a frontline patient care partner for an inpatient unit. You will collaborate with registered nurses on care plans, maintain competencies, and help ensure the safety and well-being of patients on the 44-bed 12 Reisman unit serving plastics, ENT, breast, and colorectal surgery patients.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 0-1 years related work experience required.
• Superior candidate would have CNA (or LNA), MA, ED Tech, EMT, PCT certificate or be enrolled nursing student with at least one clinical rotation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with an inpatient nursing team to provide quality patient care.
• Collaborates with a registered nurse on developing a patient's care plan.
• Develops and maintains competencies as delegated by a registered nurse.
• Maintains patient safety by implementing nursing safety interventions or using protective devices under supervision.
• Reports all patient activity to the registered nurse in a timely manner.
