Beth Israel Lahey Health’s 12 Reisman unit seeks a patient care collaborator to work with an inpatient nursing team to provide quality care. You will assist in developing care plans, maintaining basic competencies, and ensuring patient safety under nurse supervision.

The role requires a high school diploma, 0–1 years’ experience, and basic computer skills, with BIDMC training completing the profile of a caring, team‑oriented nurse aide in a busy surgical unit.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 0-1 years related work experience required.
• Patient care experience strongly preferred through CNA (or LNA), MA, ED Tech, EMT, PCT certificate or currently enrolled nursing student with at least one clinical rotation.
• Completion of BIDMC in-house training program.
• Allied Health, Pre-Med, and Physician Assistant program candidates.
• Home Health Aide.
• Basic familiarity with computers.
• Ability to navigate at a basic level within web-based applications.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborates with an inpatient nursing team to provide quality patient care.
• Collaborates with a registered nurse on developing a patient's care plan.
• Develops and maintains competencies as delegated by a registered nurse.
• Maintains patient safety by implementing interventions or using protective devices under supervision.
• Reports all patient activity to the registered nurse in a timely manner.
