Job summary

You will support care plans, maintain competencies, ensure patient safety, and promptly report activities to the nurse in charge. Basic computer skills and a caregiving mindset are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 0-1 years related work experience is required.
• Patient care experience strongly preferred (CNA/LNA/MA/ED Tech/EMT/PCT or nursing student with clinicals).
• Completion of BIDMC in-house training program.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with an inpatient nursing team to provide quality patient care.
• Develops and maintains competencies as delegated by a registered nurse.
• Maintain patient safety for at-risk patients with safety interventions or protective devices.
• Report all patient activity to the registered nurse promptly.
