Geisinger is seeking an Inpatient Registered Nurse for a night/weekend-including schedule. The role offers a hiring incentive up to $26,000 and a minimum hiring rate of $35.88 per hour, with up to $7 hourly shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduate from Specialty Training Program in Nursing (Required).
• Pennsylvania RN license and active certification.
• Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsibilities

• Completes assessments per scope of practice and unit standards.
• Addresses physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patient and family.
• Plans, coordinates, and provides care with family education and discharge planning.
• Provides direct patient care including treatments and medications.
• Evaluates nursing interventions and revises care plans as needed.
• Communicates with physicians and multidisciplinary team to resolve patient needs.
• Participates in quality and safety education and unit goals.
