Job summary

Geisinger is seeking a full-time Inpatient RN to join our team. The role offers a minimum starting rate of $40.55 per hour with increased rates for experienced nurses and up to $7 shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends. Eligible candidates may receive relocation assistance and a $26,000 hiring incentive.

Hours are 7am–7:30pm with every other weekend and holiday. Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing is required.

Qualifications

• Delivery of patient care using nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Directs patient teaching and supports family education.
• Provides direct patient care including treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care using nursing process and ensure safety and quality.
• Direct and guide patient teaching and activities of ancillary personnel.
• Provide direct patient care including treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies.
• Complete assessments per scope of practice and unit standards.
• Coordinate plan of care with patient, family, and interdisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to optimize patient outcomes.
