Job summary

Generations Healthcare's Lakeside Special Care in Lakeside, CA is seeking a licensed Behavioral Health Clinician (LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC) to support adults with serious mental illness in an inpatient residential setting. The role involves assessments, treatment planning, individual and group therapy, crisis response, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling or related field.
• LMFT/LCSW/LPCC license required or AMFT/ASW trainee with supervision.
• One year of behavioral health experience required.
• CPR certification required or obtained within orientation.
• English proficiency required.
• BBS supervision eligibility where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise AMFT, MSW and PCC students alongside BH Clinical Director.
• Manage day-to-day tasks, scheduling and program compliance.
• Conduct individual and group therapy using CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing.
• Develop treatment plans and document patient records.
• Provide crisis response and collaborate with multidisciplinary team.
• Provide staff training on behavioral health topics.
